Description
The Gug is a bloated monstrosity from the beyond, its gelatinous bulk sagging like a collapsed cathedral of flesh. Towering over most humans, it lumbers forward on stunted, root-like legs, but it’s the arms—if they can be called that—that define its terror. Each limb is a massive, crushing tentacle, thick as tree trunks and lined with ridged muscle and bone-like cartilage, capable of coiling around limbs and snapping them like twigs. The Gug doesn’t roar or speak; it emits a low, wet rumble that vibrates through the ground and into the bones of those nearby. Its skin glistens with a mucosal sheen, mottled with bruised purples and sickly greens, and its presence alone seems to warp the air, as if reality itself resents its intrusion.
